A series of three book jackets developed for BBC Digging for Britain for readers aged 5–8, 19–24 and 35+. Exploring themes of discovery, heritage and memory, the outcomes combine illustration, photography, typography and print design to create audience-specific book covers.
The Quarry Within, is a heritage-focused fiction novel for readers aged 19–24, developed for BBC Digging for Britain. The story follows Aidan as he investigates his family history through a quarry that appears throughout generations of family stories, exploring themes of identity, belonging and personal heritage.
The Hidden Hat, is an early-reader adventure book for children aged 5–8, developed for BBC Digging for Britain. Through a garden treasure hunt, the story promotes teamwork, curiosity and problem-solving as three friends search for Grandad’s missing hat.
Lost & Found is a collection of short stories for readers aged 35+, developed for BBC Digging for Britain in recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Featuring nine BBC voices and nine everyday objects, the project explores memory, loss and rediscovery through an interactive dust jacket that reveals hidden content beneath.
